Feb 2018 Show and Tell

We had a great turnout this meeting. The weather was mostly clear and sunny. Such a contrast to last month. I'm not sure a theme emerged with this month's Show and Tell but we have lots of wonderful projects. Still a few more captions to be transcribed.

Another masterpiece rug woven by Gail. This one as a gift to her Son and DIL and that it be in earth tones. I estimate the size to be 2 ft x 4 ft?

Marianne M did her Beginning weavers practice by weaving
this Rosepath sampler, recording each pattern.

Jen hand dyed and hand spun mohair and silk (warp) for
the woven green shawl/scarf (14" x 6 ft) and wove the
a 6 1/2 ft long shawl (R) using rayon and bamboo

She wove a set of tea towels and two scarves, the purple from oddments

Stephanie wove a long runner and 8 napkins
 using a "twill complication" weave pattern. 

Karen B wove this advancing point twill shawl of
7 gauge bamboo which feels and drapes like chenille.

Karen B used the same 2/8 cotton warp
for all the towels. 2/8 mercerized cotton
 buolce was used for the left 2 towels.
