Apron Challenge inspired by Weaving Today Cover

The Apron Challenge
Last Fall, Barb L., a long time member if not a founding one, brought to our attention the cover of Weaving Today featuring a woven tea towel made into an apron with an Inkle band. She spoke to our creativity and presented the Apron Challenge. This could be a traditional apron, one of your own design and weaving or go beyond that. "Go Wild" she said! The creativity came forth. They were beautiful and what a variety, from original handwoven tea towels, up-cycled samplings, baby bibs, a revival of a hand embroidered tea towel or completely new creation's such as Terry's cheesecloth and felted apron. Barb enjoyed showing us the felted slogan on her apron which said "Kiss the Cook".
